@Spring – the book is coming in about 1 month. I have asked Amilya to come back to our offices for another interview when her book is out.

Mike and Amilya, thank you so much. Great video. I do have a thought that came up right away. Being a young entrepreneur with very limited funds to hire, how do I build that “team”? I have awesome volunteers, supports, experts, and others on board, but we don’t work under the same roof. So, I guess my question is. Is it possible to create your kick ass team this way, or no because it’s volunteer and the commitment, motivation, etc. may not be the same as yours? If no, how the heck and where the heck do I start to create my team with not so much of a hiring budget? Thank you!!!

@Susan – yes you can build a great team of volunteers. Funny enough a much big driver for people than money is purpose. Money is simply a means to an existence, but purpose is a means to motivation and happiness. So, find people who don’t have a concern for more money, but seek a purpose in alignment with you. They are out there you just need to look.

      Amilya… what are your thoughts?

@Susan Great Questions! Being a leader and team builder wether your team is a “hired” team or “volunteers” the principals remain the same. As a leader some keys are to find like minded people who have diverse skill sets to work together for a common vision and goal.

Each team member should know why are they on your team? What is their role on the team? and what the overall vision and goals are. Based on your leadership style these components are reinforced.

In todays environment it is very common to have team members in different locations therefore your tools and communication need to be tighter but the team can most defiantly succeed often time with better odds since the different location lends to more flexibility, Building a home, business or your life it all comes down to what are you good at? Who do you need around you to diversify your skill sets, create strong win/wins with like minded people so that together it is more fun, successful and purposeful than it would be alone.
I look forward to sharing the new book with all the TP Entrepreneur community. Book Launch date is scheduled for April 1st.
    Sending smiles :)

Wow! THANK YOU! This is extremely helpful and just confirmed some of my questions on certain volunteers. I need to do some rearranging, but this is good :) Thank you both so very much!

    Congrats on the book Amilya!
