The Jamaica trip was great! I just adore Jamaica and all the wonderful people I met there. Gale Peart, the Jamaican TPE who owns My Elite Grocer, hosted and facilitated the entire event. Gale did an amazing job. Here are pictures of a few of the highlights:
After enjoying a lunch with Gale Peart (far left) in Port Royal, she brought me to the hotel that hosted me. It was the beautiful Spanish Court Hotel, right in the heart of Kingston.
If you know Reggae, you know Luciano. He and I briefly met at The Spanish Court Hotel. His music is incredible. He truly is the next Bob Marley.
I had dinner that night at StarApples in Kingston. I loved their genuine Jamaican cuisine. From left to right in this photo is David Mullings (owner of Real Vibez), his wife Kathryn Mullings, Ayanna Samuels (a big advocate for entrepreneurs throughout Jamaica), me, Gale Peart (of My Elite Grocer), and Scott Bradley (from TPE Headquarters).
I was interviewed by TV J a nationally broadcast TV channel. After the interview one of the hosts, Simone Clarke-Cooper asked me to autograph her copy of The TPE book. After 15 years of being on television, she is ready to launch her own company. Go Simone! Go Simone!

This is some of the crowd that arrived early to listen to my speaking event. I was dusk when I started, and it was standing room only. Even the 2nd floor balcony was filled.

Must have been an intense part of my speech. I think I'm about to bust a vein in my neck.

The book signing after the event.

Another picture of the book signing. This picture is me with Barry Tangwell of the Jamaica Biscuit Company.
Talk about good coffee... Jablum (Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee) is the world's best. Wow! Amazing!!!!

I had some Bran Oats crackers with jam and some with tuna-fish. Amazingly good.

I didn't get to try the wine and they sold out of the stuff before I even got to do a photo with them. Now I have a reason to return.
The morning after my keynote speech, I went to St. Andrew High for Girls. The auditorium was packed with 200 high school girls. Here I am with the school's principal.
Here are a few of the young ladies that listened to my presentation. A few committed, on the spot, to becoming world changing, world leading TPEs! Go St. Andrew High! Go St. Andrew High!

That afternoon I went to Chronicles bookstore in Kingston Jamaica and met Rose (left) and Kathy (right), the owners. Kathy was celebrating her birthday!

Inside I was busy signing books (with a pink capped pen, nonetheless). Gale Peart is sitting on the far left and Shani (a TPE who flew in from Atlanta) is sitting between us.
The day ended with David Mullings (left) giving me an honorary Jamaican book mark. Reggae musician, Cezar (right), attended the "ceremony".
The only reason this trip was possible was because of Gale Peart and all the fine folks at My Elite Grocer. I thank you for all you did. From the very bottom of my heart, I thank you.
