Peter, you are truly blessed. Gives me hope for my ADHD grandkidlets.

I’ve used HARO from both sides. It’s your footprint on the world – and a resource beyond measure for reporters, freelancers, and authors.

My biggest complaint: People who choose to be stupid. They walk among us…

congratulations! I am a bit envious of your lifestyle.

One small pet peeve — the word “definitely” is misspelled here:

    Biggest Accomplishment
    HARO. Definately!

    – why do people always spell it “definately”?

Peter, thanks for all you do! I’ve made so many great connections through HARO!

Love that HARO was started on less than 1k and is a living now.

Also love that Peter used a sandwich board to look for a job. With great results! I have a feeling the results might not be so great for a young PR pro today.

Great post and Peter always has some great things to take away. Here is a post of a presentation he gave in November 2009 for The Public Relations Society New York Chapter: http://themikejohnson.com/2009/11/03/peter-shankman-and-sandra-fathi-at-prsany-advance-twitter-panel/

@Mike – I am a HUGE fan of Peter Shankman. He continues to rock the social media world. I think he is one of the few (dare I say only) people that was able to monetize an email platform AND sell the company. He is the guru of the social media age, and offers a lot for us to all learn from.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he starts hosting his own national TV show soon. It would finally be some good TV to watch.
