The Entrepreneur

Federico Calce, Founder of Federico Hair Salon

Launched
August 1990

The TPE Mission
To bring out every woman's inner beauty

The Education
Boccone College in Milano where I majored in architecture

Favorite Food
I'm Italian so, of course, it's Italian pasta

On The Job Challenge
My hardest job is either working on a film set or during Fashion Week working with designers and models.  They want it perfect and they want it immediately.  Both on films and during fashion shows the hot lights wreck havoc on hairstyles.

Favorite Movie, Favorite Book, Favorite Anything
The Godfather

Looks Up To
Former President Harry S Truman. He didn't care what anyone thought; he did what he thought was right.

Living On The Edge
The weirdest thing I've done is put toilet paper in a woman's hair!  Or maybe it was skiing backwards

The Key To Success
Fully trusting your employees.

The Biggest Mistake
Not trusting your employees.

I had no idea that someone could use toilet paper in their hair. This could be the next style popular at weddings.

I thought Italians rolled their own pasta!!! :)

And right on about your employees, not only should you fully trust them you should treat them the same way you do your top customers.
