3. Timing– Got an amazing story? Tiger Woods will still have you beat. Quiet news days are bigger opportunities than busy days.
4. Pick Up The Phone- Everyone submits press releases via email and fax. It's so easy after all. And every email and fax get's trashed. It's so easy after all. Pick up the phone and tell the reporter about you interesting angle.
5. Free Is Worth It – Use free tools like HARO and PRLog to get leads faster and get the word out faster, respectively.
