No pictures, not much text. Just 55 seconds until you hire a great employee:
1. Video Cover Letters
Request prospective job seekers to submit a video explaining there qualifications. Creative people will stand out.
2. Attitude, Energy, Intelligence
Don't worry about practical experience you can teach them that. Hire on attitude, energy and intelligence... because you can't teach them that.
3. The Old Boss
Ask them what they feel their prior boss would say about their performance, then call that boss to confirm.
4. The Old Days
Look for patterns of past behavior. How they behaved at past companies is a strong indicator of how they will behave at your company.
5. Celebrate
If you make the hire, celebrate the first day on the job with balloons, cards and fanfare. An employee that is cared for from day one, will return the favor.
