Is Your Revenue Flat Lining?

How To Become An Entrepreneur

The economy sucks. I get that. Scratch that – Actually, I don’t get it. The economy doesn’t suck, instead YOUR economy sucks.

The overall economy is actually strengthening. So, if your economy sucks (revenue is flat or declining), here is my favorite tip to getting revenue growing again. In short, you do more of what is working and stop doing what’s not. Simple enough, right?

The method is to look at the last 3 months of sales and identify the one thing that has brought in the most revenue.

Then brainstorm all the ways that you can grow that one thing. For example, can you feature that one thing at the front of your store or your website? Can you run a promotion for that one thing? Can you call all the buyers in your industry and just promote this one item or service?

By focusing on what has worked and doing more of it, in better ways you will surely grow it. And since that one thing has a proven track record, you can have a high degree of confidence it will keep working.

Oh yeah, and those things that aren’t working...

They have proven to suck (just like YOUR economy). So stop wasting time on them, and stop doing them... NOW!
