Check the dress code. My husband has been in HR for many years, and he says that when an employee goes from the normal dress code, to dressing a little nicer, new suit, new tie, polished shoes, that they are on track for interviewing with another company. Many employees, once hired, get a little relaxed in their dress until the time they start scheduling interviews. It’s a big flag that most people notice. They may even joke and say, “are you interviewing for another job?”, and the answer is always, no… I just wanted to dress a little nicer. In actuality, they are heading for an interview.

The biggest give away is the private conversations with there coworkers and freinds.  Employees who are about to leave almost always start looking for reassurance from fellow employees and friends plus even more dangerous is they usualy are trying to justify there action by poisoning everyone they can before they leave.  For some reason if they can get several to go with them it makes them feel so much better.
