    As an employer, if you intend to set up a trial salary be specific in the time period of the trial and stick to it. Often times, employees are hired under the terms of a trial salary period. The trial comes to an end and the employer never comes through.

    If you say something.. mean it.

    You will never be able to retain quality employees if you are none as “cheap” or “sketchy”. As the employer your word to your employees is a bond.

    Just as you want to be able to trust your employees, they want to be able to trust you.
