Web Resources for Women Entrepreneurs: I think one of the best places for any women entrepreneur to look is the Small Business Administration http://www.sba.gov/. The site has resources from writing a business plan to funding a business. There are a number of online forms, additional sites and even online training tools. A few of the resources that might be of particular interest through the SBA are the Office of Entrepreneurial Development and the listings of local Women’s Business Centers throughout the US.

The value you get for what you pay is unbelievable. I make sure to check the site daily.
Web Resources for Women Entrepreneurs: I’ve found the Professional eBay Sellers Association/E-Commerce Merchants Trade Association forums (http://www.ecmta.org, membership required but membership is FREE) to be incredibly useful. Both sides of the ProBlogger brand have given me very valuable information and insight.
Web Resources for Women Entrepreneurs: Legal River is a new online marketplace that helps entrepreneurs find the right lawyer. It works similar to lending tree, but instead of having banks compete on your mortgage, lawyers compete on your business. If you need to find a quality lawyer, take 5 minutes and post your legal need on LegalRiver.com, its confidential (no lawyers will see your name), and have lawyers compete on your business, sending you their bio and work experience as well as an estimated rate. The best part is its free.
Web Resources for Women Entrepreneurs: I recommend http://www.PitchRate.com where female entrepreneurs can instantly find media leads [at no charge] and learn tips from the PR trade. For example, they can learn how to land large, coveted media placements, like Dr. Phil, which was scored in eight hours of the pitch being sent in the spring of 2009. Launched February of 2009 and now one of the internet’s top sites [according to Alexa.com], PitchRate’s the only tool out there that allows media to rate experts on their pitches.
