Hi Emma,

I think your lesson is right on....

Since you 'never' know who you are talking to or how they connect to someone you might want to be talking to.... I always encourage my teens to be curious about who they meet and tell them it's ok to agree to disagree :) I also remind them to leave politics and religion out of the dialogue and try to focus on how how things, people, companies are different but not better or worse. Keeps them out of things they don't quite know about yet ;-)

As for remembering the challenging times, also agreed. You can do that simply by choosing your favorite local charity/non profit and volunteering every month. That is one of several ways I keep grounded and connected with the 'real world' and my community.

Thank you so much Ryan. It has been a lot of hard work and takes constant dedication, but I love every second of it!

Congratulations on all your success Emma! Your website looks great. It's a great example of what makes the web a great space to be in. If you put out great content for a long enough time, people seem to jump on organically. You can literally build something from nothing with just hard work and dedication.
