It provoked thought and engaged me both as a reader and an Entrepreneur. Many people these days have a laxidasical attitude and an entitlement mentality. If more people acted with the intent and urgency that your "Street Corner Pharmacist" does, I believe as you have stated, that we (as Entrepreneurs and Business People) would be better off. One thing you left out, I bet your friend is also keenly aware of every aspect of his closest competitors as well. Andrew – I very much enjoyed your article. I think making $10,000 might not be the ideal goal for this exercise... Perhaps a better exercise would be: Quickly list 10 ideas that, in the next 90 days, can... Create an audience of 10,000 engaged readers. OR Add daily value to the lives of 10,000 people. I would argue that the more important focus is on creating something that adds value... I would argue that the more important focus is on creating something that adds value… Money is of course a key part of a successful business, but money shouldn’t be the primary goal. Do something that adds value that can be monetized… If it truly adds value, there are many ways to make money from it.
